As FOS said a long time ago, it hasn't been about "meritocracy" for well over a century. Maybe there was meritocracy back in like 1850 but not anymore.

1) Speculate in the stock market
2) Buy up real assets like real estate (look at how many rentals Blackstone and Blackrock purchased since 2009 + QE)
3) Buy Epstein Islands and corrupt the stupid / treasonous politicians
4) Funnel money into NGOs to promote immigration so wh1te people will fight against other ethnic groups rather than vs "the ruling elites"
5) Buy up media (both independent and mainstream) so they can keep the g0y1m distracted with retarded headlines and paparazzi
They've actually had many centuries to perfect all of these "strategies"

Fed Reserve policy is to Print ever more $$$ and juice the "Markets" and "Asset" Prices
Working folks cant even barely pay the Outrageous "Rent" and float the Car "Note" every month so they turn 2 "Credit Cards" plug the gaps inbetween but paying 20/30 point in INTEREST on Credit Card debt..
Eventually they get so far deep in debt the Credit Companies cut their cards off but they still must make monthly "Minnimum Payments" again rollimg "Interest" 20/30 Points..
Heres the "Corporate" Way..
Ya know what "Zombie" Corporations are basically they are "Unsustainable" in any real "Buisness" Sense yet they cook the books juice up financial reports and Stock Prices..
The new High in "Share Prices" becomes fresh "Liquidity" to "Borrow Against" and Secure new Credit Lines..
Eventually the "Circle Jerk" Collapses flat out "Busted" file for "Bankruptcy" and the "Liquidated" at "Fire-Sale" prices and the Investors and Shareholders find themselves holding the bag too
